Students should bring their favorite hand tools and the following:
- at minimum, (l) 3 x 6″ sheet of 26 gauge reticulation silver
In order to get the best quality and character of texture, Harold recommends that you order this from Hauser and Miller Co (You may wish to order more for your later use as well) - some cast rings or pins that you wish to granulate (optional: students may also elect to granulate on their reticulated silver)
- l small #000 acrylic paint brush
- small containers for holding granules
- 3ft of sterling silver round wire under 20 gauge for making granules (26 gauge recommended)
- 1 compressed charcoal block
