Faceted Bezel Stone Setting | Wednesday evenings, 3 weeks
Description:
Be introduced to gravers as a tool in stone setting. Learn the anatomy of cut gemstones, theories of stone setting, and to set gemstones in thick-walled bezel components with demonstrations and hands-on practice in techniques, including hammer setting, cut-away bezel setting, and crown setting. After practicing each technique, students will complete two or more components for earrings, pendants, necklaces or bracelets.

Prerequisites: Introduction to Silversmithing & Graver Set-Up for Stone Setting (or equivalent experience and instructor approval)
$60 kit fee payable to instructor
